The P.A.N.D.A Project Cast
A cast aged 8-21yrs who come together each week to explore different social issues and taboo subjects through the arts. The group choose a different issue depending on what they feel is a subject that needs exploring, expressing, understanding and bringing to the surface more. With each theme the group explore different art forms in which these topics can be performed to an audience and the community with a view to provoke change, positive thinking and an open space to think and learn from different perspectives.
The cast take elements from Artaud, Lloyd Newson and DV8 in terms of a sensory experience and physical theatre. We by all means add 'shock' to some of our pieces to grab the audience's attention. With a mix of song, poetry, dance, physical theatre and acting our aim as a group is to find unique and captivating ways to deliver the social issue to the audience.
The cast fuse together live mixed-art theatre and film to perform at the end of each exploration and project.
ConneXtion - The Dance Showcase
ConneXtion is a dance showcase platform that brings together different dance schools, institutes and companies all on to one platform to explore the same social issue or taboo subject. The issue is the same topic chosen by the P.A.N.D.A cast. Each group is given the theme and background to explore through dance. We then all come together for a show night that delivers each performance. The evening is a community-encouraging event where dancers, parents and company owners/leaders come together, make friends and support creating change and positivity to a wider community. The platform was created to do exactly this. To spread the work we do to a wider community and in turn provoke a longer ripple effect of change and positive mindset.
SOUL TALK - PODCAST
P.A.N.D.A's CEO, Razia Kaila hosts a podcast called 'SOUL TALK'.
The podcast aims to speak 1-1 about topics that the community may struggle with or have worked through to overcome. The podcasts are real-life stories and authentic and so many topics have been spoken about. It is a safe space and open-hearted environment where guests can speak up about topics and share their story. The podcast has been a huge success so far and has explored many different areas. It is both uplifting and healing for guests and the aim is to discuss stories, insights and overcomes that could help someone watching.

In previous projects we have explored; Body image & disabilities. sex exploitation, social media effects, bullying, drug and alcohol abuse, self-harm, racism, knife crime and childhood trauma.
